Eric Clinton

 


Eric Clinton was born in New York City on June 7, 1944.

After finishing lower school he decided to study fine art and left New York for the opportunity to study painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. After a year at the academy he went west to pursue his art. His major had been painting, sculpture, print making and other creative methods, but he was always drawn to his easel. He wound up at the Art Institute of San Francisco as well as the Art Design School of San Francisco and California State University.

For a time he had his own studio in San Francisco to paint full time.
He has participated in several group shows and many of his works are held in private collections.

Eric has traveled throughout Europe, Africa, Mexico and lived in Morocco for several years. All of his travels have played a part in his work.

For the last 15 years Eric has lived and painted in Sante Fe, New Mexico.
